Who we are

XBRL Kuwait is an online service that converts figures from your accounting records into an XBRL data file, an income statement and a statement of financial position, with preparation notes for your auditor's review. We prepare and convert; we do not give an audit opinion or file on your behalf. Contact: support@xbrlkw.com

What we collect
Filing informationThe company name, registration number, financial year and figures you enter. They are stored on our server to produce and reopen your file, with encryption in transit.
Payment informationPayments are processed by Tap using available methods, including KNET, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We do not see or store your card number; we receive only the transaction reference and its status.
Free resourcesDownloads are direct, without an email address or phone number. We may record page views and download-link clicks. We retain information from earlier resource requests, contact details you optionally enter in contact forms, and the source of your visit.
Technical informationYour IP address, browser type and advertising identifiers such as fbclid and gclid, to identify which advertisement brought you to the service.
How we use it

We use your information to produce and deliver your file, track a stamping request by document reference, provide a requested free-resource link and a draft-resume link when requested, and measure sources of visits to our service.

We do not send any financial figures from your accounting records to third parties. Measurement tools (Meta and Google) receive only neutral events—page visits, form starts and purchases at our service price—and hashed email identifiers when an email address is optionally provided in a contact request, as with earlier resource requests.

We measure step numbers, preview opens, continuation and page departures to improve the form, without sending financial input values to measurement tools. The partial draft image is generated from your inputs in server memory and sent to your browser, without saving it as a public file or recording it as a completed filing.

During data entry we save the latest unfinished draft on our own server, including the company name, entered figures and last section reached. Authorized administrators may access it for support and service improvement even if you do not reach payment. These values are not sent to Meta or Google.

We also store step and error events, approximate click locations, scroll depth and section visibility on our server. We do not record session screens or keystrokes, and do not send field contents with activity events. A section becoming visible does not mean we know you read every word.

In the two balance-difference guides, our server records visits, check attempts, result displays and app links using a random identifier for each tab visit, without calculator figures or result details. A temporary identifier valid for 30 minutes links a guide visit to observed app activity; it does not grant draft access or change the original acquisition source. The transition uses a cookie readable by pages on the xbrlkw.com domain, then a signed app-only copy when moving from the example to the form. Guide activity uses a 30-day window; that window is not the retention period for paid files. No external measurement tools load on the calculator pages.

Who we share with
Tap PaymentsPayment processing through methods available for our account and your device.
Audit firmOnly if you request stamping; it receives your file with its document reference.
Meta · GoogleNeutral measurement events as described above. We do not sell your data.
Cookies

We use a session cookie to reopen your filing (60 days), a marketing-attribution cookie retaining your first visit source (90 days) and latest source (30 days), and measurement-tool cookies when enabled. You can delete them in your browser at any time.

A first-party cookie lasting up to 30 minutes carries the public landing page, source website host and campaign identifiers from xbrlkw.com to the app. It contains no financial inputs and is removed when consumed by the app. Existing first and latest source retention periods still apply.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, permanent deletion or cancellation of any messages by contacting support@xbrlkw.com. Unpaid filing data is automatically deleted 60 days after the last edit. Paid filings and their adjustment history are retained as an audit trail for your auditor unless you request deletion.
